Application for membership should be submitted in writing addressed to the Association.
There are two classes of membership within the Association; each class of membership is defined below:
Regular Member: Regular membership will be limited to U.S. Navy and Marine Corps or former U.S. Navy & Marine Corps personnel now serving or having served honorably in a U.S. Navy or Marine Corps EOD Billet. This definition encompasses graduates of the U.S. Navy EOD School, the U.S. Navy Mine Disposal School and the U.S. Navy Bomb Disposal School. This membership class will also include the spouses, widows and or widowers of the member. A regular member shall have voting privileges on all matters properly introduced in any business meeting with one vote per family.
Associate Member: Associate Membership shall be reserved for:
A. EOD personnel and former EOD personnel of the other armed services. This definition to include other countries such as Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom.
B. Other individuals (UDT/SEALS, support personnel and or civilian technicians) who have worked closely with the EOD Community.
C. Police and fire safety personnel who have legal responsibility as technicians or investigators in the field of explosives.
Associate Members must be recommended by at least two regular members.
An Associate Member does not enjoy voting rights and may not hold elected office.
Dues for N&MCEODA membership are $25.00 for the first year and $25.00 each year thereafter. This money pays for correspondence, The Disposaleer, membership directory, by-laws, printing, copying and other incidental expenses related to Association business. Upon joining you will receive a N&MCEODA Membership Card, the latest Quarterly Disposaleer, Membership Directory, Decal and By-laws.
